Hackney Empire

Located in the heart of East London, Hackney Empire is a grand yet intimate theatre venue built in the 1900s by renowned architect Frank Matcham. The theatre has consistently pushed boundaries and promoted diversity on its stage since its inception. High-quality theatre, Opera, Pantomimes and other genres of music make regular appearances on its stage. It has been a launching pad for many artists including Charlie Chaplin and the beloved stand-up comedian, Jack Dee. Inside, you'll encounter stunningly ornate interiors and a warm, welcoming aura that will make any theatre-goer feel at home.
