Upper Circle at the Kit Kat Club

Four rows, A to D, from around £34 midweek, and 85 steps up from the foyer with no lift in the building. That is the whole trade.

It sits on one side of the stage only. There is no Upper Circle above the other bank, so every cheap seat in this theatre is in the same corner of it.

What you see from up here

You look down on the show and you do not miss any of it. The perspective is different from being at floor level, and that is the only thing that changes.

You are at the top, so there is no level above to cut into the view. A rail runs down the centre of the aisles, so check which side of it your seat number sits on when you come in.

The climb

Eighty-five steps from the foyer, with a handrail the whole way, and no alternative route: the theatre has no lift at all and the Stalls is the only level with step-free access. If that is a problem, book the Stalls instead and read the access route first.

There is no bar on this level. The nearest is the Dress Circle bar, a flight below you, and the foyer is the full 85 steps down, so buy a drink before the show rather than at the interval.

Upper Circle FAQs

Are the Upper Circle seats at the Kit Kat Club worth it?

For the money, yes. You are looking down on a stage in the middle of the building rather than across at one against a wall, so you see all of it and only the angle changes. What decides this level is the 85 steps.

How many steps are there to the Upper Circle?

Eighty-five up from the foyer, with a handrail throughout. There is no lift in the building and no other way up to this level. The Dress Circle is 32 steps and the Stalls is the only step-free part of the theatre.
