About In Pieces at The Other Palace

In Pieces is a new musical by Joey Contreras, a pop-driven score about the people you do not end up with. It follows six characters across three chapters of life, as friends, family and lovers confront old wounds and work out whether they can hold the joy and the pain of the past at the same time.

Before this run, In Pieces built an audience online: the show's songs have been streamed more than 70 million times, and it has had licensed productions and digital concerts reaching more than 150 countries. This is its first fully staged production, directed by Martha Geelan, with choreography by Sam Wilson Freeman and music supervision by Brian Russell Carey.

Who is In Pieces for?

Anyone who already knows the songs from streaming them, and anyone who likes a modern pop-scored musical about relationships rather than a traditional book show. The age guidance is 8 and over, so it suits a family trip as well as a date.
