Main Floor at the Hippodrome Casino

The Main Floor is the level round the stage, on the first floor of the casino, and it's where most of the seats are. The stage comes out into the middle of it, so the seats are on three sides, and they run outwards from the stage in bands: the Front Row, the tables, Rows A and B, then the couches. This is the level for being part of the show.
The Front Row
The closest seats in the theatre. The Front Row wraps round the point of the stage and runs down both sides of it, on movable chairs, and you'll get more attention from the cast here than anywhere else. It's the most expensive standard seat, and the staging blocks a few of these seats for a moment or two.
The Premium Tables
Behind the Front Row, filling the space between the stage and Row A. Most are tables for two, a few seat four, and you're sold seats rather than the whole table, so a smaller party shares. The performers work their way between them all night. The chairs adjust, but the tables are tight, so don't expect to stretch out. The ones facing the point of the stage give you the straightest view.
Premium Tables 15 and 22 are the VIP Luxe tables, sold with drinks through the show and a meet and greet afterwards. Both seat four. Table 15 is in the middle, facing the point of the stage, and 22 is on the left.
Tables down the sides
Down both sides of the stage are the Side Premium Tables, all for two and the same price as the Premium Tables. On the right there are also three Raised Tables, a step up and a price band lower.
Right beside the far end of the stage are three small tables on each side. They're among the cheapest seats on the Main Floor, and you're watching the stage from the side, so they're the value pick if you want a table.
Row A and Row B
Row A curves round behind the tables, with short sections running down each side, and Row B curves behind that. Row A is still only a few rows from the stage, there's a walkway in front of it that the performers use, and the stage is raised, so you see nearly everything the tables see. The dearest Row A seats cost the same as the tables.
Row B is where we'd look for value on this level. It usually costs the same as the front row of the Upper Level, and it keeps you on the same floor as the stage and in reach of the cast.
The couches
Couch A is in the back right corner, Couch B in the back left, and Couch C runs down the left side. They're cheaper, but they're the furthest seats from the stage on this level, and the cast come by less often at the back.
What to watch for
The Performance Ledge, the raised area across the back of the theatre, and the Upper Level both get some of the action, and from the front of the Main Floor that's behind you or above you. You may need to turn round now and then. There's nothing overhead: no part of the Upper Level hangs over the Main Floor seats.
Getting in, drinks and toilets
You'll find the Main Floor one floor up from the street, opposite the Heliot Steak House. The show entrance on Cranbourn Street has one step at the door, while the Little Newport Street entrance and its lift have none, and the wheelchair spaces are on this level, either side of the stage. The access page has the rest.
There's no need to queue at a bar once you're in, because a waiter takes your order at your seat and you settle up at the end. For a drink before the show, the Penny Bar and the Permission Lounge are on this floor, and the accessible toilet for this level is at the Penny Bar.
Main Floor FAQs
Is Row A the front row at the Hippodrome Casino?
No. The Front Row and the tables sit in front of Row A. Row A is the first of the two curved rows behind the tables.
What are the cheapest seats on the Main Floor?
The small tables beside the far end of the stage, three on each side, and the couches at the back. For a seat in the middle, Row B is the cheapest.
