Two. On the theatre's own floor there's the Heliot Steak House, which has a menu for Magic Mike Live ticket holders, and downstairs there's Chop Chop, open late.

Does the Hippodrome Casino have a rooftop bar?

Yes. The Rooftop is an outdoor terrace on the fifth floor, open from the afternoon until the small hours, and it's the one place in the building where you can smoke.

You don't have to leave the building to eat and drink before Magic Mike Live: there's a steak house on the same floor as the theatre, a Chinese restaurant downstairs and a rooftop bar. Step outside and Chinatown, Covent Garden and Leicester Square's hotels are all a few minutes away.

Eat

Heliot Steak House (in the building). On the same floor as the theatre, so you can eat and walk straight in. Show your Magic Mike Live ticket for the theatre menu. Kitchen hours are 5pm to 10pm Sunday to Thursday, and to 11pm on Friday and Saturday.

Chop Chop (in the building). Downstairs, on the lower ground floor. A Chinese restaurant run with Four Seasons, whose roast duck is on the menu, and it's open late, so it's the one for after the 9:30pm show.

Viet Food (about 4 minutes). Wardour Street, Chinatown. Vietnamese and quick, for when you haven't got long before the show.

Bancone (about 5 minutes). William IV Street. Fresh pasta at a fair price. It closes at 10pm Monday to Wednesday, so eat before a 7pm show rather than after.

Drink

The Rooftop (in the building). The casino's outdoor terrace, on the fifth floor, with views across Soho and food and drinks. It's open from 3pm on weekdays and from midday at weekends until the small hours, and it's where you can smoke.

Permission Lounge (in the building). On the theatre's floor. A cocktail lounge with live music, and the cast often drop in after the show.

The Penny Bar (in the building). Also on the theatre's floor, and the easy place to meet up before you go in.

The Salisbury (about 2 minutes). St Martin's Lane. A Victorian pub with engraved glass and brass, if you'd rather have a pint outside the casino.
